Hamas issued the following press release on the 6th anniversary of the Prisoner exchange deal: “ Wafa Al Ahrar “ :
Peace be upon the souls of martyrs who mixed their blood with the soil of Palestine. Peace be upon the freedom fighters who give their precious lives to defend their homeland. Peace be upon the steadfast men, the women , the old and the young of the land of peace. Peace be upon the detainees who have spent their youth inside the Israeli jails.
To our steadfast people and, our Arab and Islamic nations :
Six years passed on the anniversary of the exchange deal which has taught us that the only way for freedom and dignity is resistance.
The great Tuesday reminds us that freedom is the destiny of our detainees and the land who plants blood of the martyrs in its soil will only gain victories.
On this anniversary we assure the following:
1- Releasing the heroic detainees who are still in the Israeli prisons is a revolutionary goal and Hamas will make all possible efforts to achieve it.
2- The Palestinian resistance , headed by Al – Qassam Brigades, vows to do all they can to release the detainees from the Israeli prisons, and resistance always fulfills its promises.
3- Resistance is the only choice for the people who continue to pay the price of victories. Resistance the defender of our peoples’ dignity and their rights of existence, life, freedom and independence.
4- Our message to the souls of the martyrs:
To the souls of the Martyred Commander, Abu Muhammad Al Jaabari , and Mazen Al Foqaha , the freed detainees in Wafa Al Ahrar deal:We will avenge your blood and rest assured that your martyrdom paves the way for freedom and liberation.
5- After years of his capture, the Israeli soldier , Shaul Aaroun , is still in the hands of Al Qassam. While the Israeli enemy is wasting time, we assure that the price will be paid and our detainees will get their freedom through a national deal followed by national celebration.
6- Our message to the Qassami Shadow unit: We are proud of you. You are the elites who plant hope in the hearts of the families and the mothers of the detainees. Be strong and complete your mission until the end.
To our steadfast people:
The resistance will be faithful to your rights and it will, God willing, achieve victory and release our detainees soon.
