The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has slammed the Israeli occupation forces' attacks on Muslim worshippers at the al-Aqsa Mosque and the mass incursions by Israeli colonial settlers into it.

Hamas spokesperson Abdul Latif al-Qanou said the danger facing the sacred Palestinian site escalates during the so-called "Sukkot" holiday, denouncing the fascist occupation government's endeavours to tighten its grip on Muslims' first Qibla and divide it spatially and temporally.

Al-Qanou hailed the courageous Palestinian people who stand up to the Israeli occupation violations and attempts to alter al-Aqsa Mosque's Islamic character.
