Head of Hamas’s Political Bureau,  Ismail Haniyeh, praised the Kuwaiti parliament speaker, Marzouq Al-Ghanim, for expelling the President of the Israeli Knesset from an international parliamentary meeting.

During a phone call, Haniyeh said to Al-Ghanem, “You have expressed the conscience of the Ummah and its empathy with the Palestinian people and you have supported the Palestinian cause in a place where victory is needed.”

He added, “You have restored the just Palestinian cause in this forum after almost being wiped out following years of Israeli lies and the biased decisions taken against it“.

On behalf of the Palestinian people, Haniyeh expressed his thanks, pride and appreciation of the legitimate gesture taken by Al-Ghanim.

For his part, Al-Ghanim expressed his gratitude and appreciation for Haniyeh’s call, saying that what he has done is a legitimate duty in a place where its most needed.

Al-Ghanim stressed that the rights of Palestinians are unalienable and that they will achieve victory.
