The Egyptian Intelligence Service phoned the leadership of Hamas to check on the health of Tawfiq Abu Naim , the General Commander of Internal Security Forces  who survived a failed assassination attempt on Friday noon.

.The Egyptian Intelligence condemned the cowardly act and  confirmed their  solidarity with Abu Naim and the leadership of Hamas.

In return,  the leadership of Hamas thanked the Egyptian Intelligence for  their efforts in following up the developments of the Palestinian cause.

It is worth noting that Naim was injured after his car was bombed in Nusseirat refugee camp.  He is being  treated at hospital and his wounds were described as moderate.
