Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri stated Tuesday that Israeli re-detention and retrial of some Palestinian freed detainees do not serve the file of detainees' swap, and will not succeed in blackmailing or pressuring Hamas.

Abu Zuhri said that the re-detention and retrial of Palestinian freed detainees contradict the terms of the detainees' swap deal of Wafa'a Al-Ahrar in 2011.

Abu Zuhri added that to initiate talks on detainees' exchange, the Israeli occupation has no choice but to release those re-detained following the conclusion of the detainees' swap deal of Wafa'a Al-Ahrar.
