The spokesperson of Hamas, Fawzi Barhoum has stated the following:

The Israeli policy of systematic demolishing of Palestinian homes, razing their agricultural land, and establishing settlement outposts is a grave Israeli crime that aims to force a new reality on the ground in order to further  entrench  the Zionist state.

We reiterate that the Israeli Occupation has no legitimacy on any inch of Palestine, and we call on all Palestinian people and Palestinian factions to adopt a national program to confront the plans of the Israeli Occupation. We urge as well the regional and international powers to take swift actions to stop the Israeli intransigence on Palestinian land and holy shrines, and to mobilize the international public opinion against this unjust occupation.
