Member of Hamas’s Political Bureau Mousa Abu Marzook stated Monday that the so-called leaks on Hamas leadership’s visit to Saudi Arabia reflect ignorance of the nature of the big changes taking place in the region, noting that such alleged leaks are baseless.

Abu Marzook said that the alleged leaks were published with an intention to defame Hamas, and to sow confusion so that people cannot see the reality of matters on the ground or the magnitude of the changes taking place in the region.

Pointing to the many changes that have happened to the US' priorities and interests, Abu Marzook explained that the United States moves in the direction of reviewing its old alliances, angering many regional parties and giving a chance to others, while still maintaining a hostile position towards Hamas.

Abu Marzook stressed that Hamas will maintain its relationship with all parties, and that Hamas's compass points only towards Jerusalem, saying that Palestine and the Palestinian resistance will continue to be a pillar of unity to the Ummah and the free peoples of the world.
