Israeli allegations point to the failure of the occupation’s security services in stopping the escalation of resistance operations across the West Bank.
Hamas spokesman Husam Badran stated Monday that the Israeli occupation continues to hold some freed detainees responsible for resistance acts in the occupied West Bank, which points to the failure of the occupation’s security services in stopping the escalation of resistance operations across the West Bank.
Badran said in a press statement Monday that it is historically known that Qassam operations in the West Bank are planned and carried out by Qassam fighters in the West Bank.
Badran warned that by such accusations, the Israeli occupation aims to shuffle cards and undermine Hamas's foreign relations.
Deeming the resistance operations as a legal and natural right of the Palestinian people, Badran stressed Hamas’s supports and blessing of such operations that target Israeli settlers and soldiers.
Badran noted that despite the ongoing Israeli repression and the high level of PA-Israeli security coordination, the resistance acts escalate throughout the occupied West Bank.
The Israeli occupation claimed that the occupation’s General Security Service "Shin Bet" had uncovered a Hamas resistance cell in the West Bank, accusing a freed prisoner abroad of leading and directing resistance operations in the West Bank.
