Press Statement

Issued by the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas"

The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, strongly condemns  the recent statements issued by Mr.  Mladenov , the Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, in which he clearly ignored the crimes of the Israeli occupation and the daily threats of its leadership against our Palestinian people. Hamas regards Mr. Mladeno’s statements unacceptable as they also disregard the Palestinians’ right to defend themselves in the face of an occupying force; a right which is guaranteed under international laws and conventions.

These statements represent a clear bias swing towards the Israeli tale, and constitute a cover for further crimes against the Palestinian people.

The movement calls upon Mr. Mladenov to use all means available to the international community to pressure Israel in halting its crimes and violations against the Palestinian people.
