The Israeli reinstatement of original prison sentences for another group of detainees freed in the 2011 Wafaa Al-Ahrar swap deal is a reflection of the state of agitation the Israeli occupation is experiencing, Hamas spokesman Husam Badran said on Tuesday.

Badran called such Israeli measures as arbitrary reactions to the strong messages recently sent by the Palestinian resistance with regards to this file.

Noting that these provisions are worthless and that the Israeli occupation will be forced to revoke them later, Badran stressed that Israel does not respect any signed agreement, and the world must treat it as a rogue state.

The Israeli occupation reinstated on Tuesday the former sentences of seven detainees who were freed in the Wafaa Al-Ahrar swap deal in 2011, raising the number of reinstated sentences to 52.
