The member of the Politburo of Hamas , Khalil Al Hayyah assured that the success of the reconciliation is basede on a national partnership.

During a consultative meeting with the factions in Gaza, he asserted Friday that the Palestinians in Gaza and West Bank need a real reconciliation which excludes no one .

Al Hayyah affirmed that Hamas is more motivated to continue in the path of reconciliation indicating that the American- Israeli objections to reconciliation must not deter or hinder us from moving forward.  

He noted that the reconciliation is a religious, national and political duty to rebuild our institutions. He  added, “ We must be true partners, no one shall exclude the other”.

Al Hayyah stated that it is important to agree on specific dates in Cairo and to hold elections during a period  that does not exceed 6 months .
