Press release by the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas"

Commenting on the recent statements made by the Saudi Foreign Minister:

We in the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas", emphasize on the following:

First, we express our dismay at the Saudi foreign minister’s request for  Qatar to cut ties with Hamas in order to achieve a national Palestinian reconciliation. This request is highly unacceptable  given the reality on the ground. The State of Qatar has always been an essential supporter of Palestinian reconciliation and it has provided all its assistance to aid the Palestinian people and defend their legitimate rights.

Second: Hamas calls upon the Arab states to support the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people against the Israeli occupation and to strengthen its grasp and steadfastness on Palestine, given the dangers the Palestinian cause faces during this time.
