Hamas condemned the recent comments made by an Israeli minister in which she considered Sinai a place for a Palestinian state.

In a tweet on his Twitter account, Sami Abu Zohri, a spokesperson of Hamas said that the movement expresses its total solidarity with Egypt and is entirely against any Israeli attempts that aim to diminish the Egyptian sovereignty on the Egyptian state.

He stressed as well that the Palestinian state will only exist on the Palestinian land.
