The head of Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh said that the American administration's acknowledgment of Jerusalem as a capital for the Israeli Occupation and relocating the American embassy to Jerusalem crosses  all red lines.

In his letter addressed to Arab and Muslim leaders, the Arab league, and other international and Palestinian organizations, Haniyeh confirmed that the Palestinian people will not allow this conspiracy to pass and all options are open  in defending  their land and  sacred places.

He added that the USA's history obviously shows an unprecedented bias to the Israeli Occupation against the Palestinian people.

The American intentions regarding Jerusalem are deemed a provocation to the feelings of all Muslims  and will lead to an escalation  with  the Israeli Occupation Forces, according to  Haniyeh .

Haniyeh concluded by saying that all Arab and Muslim countries including nations, and governments are entitled to take their historical responsibilities towards Jerusalem, noting that all efforts should be mobilized to put the USA under pressure to retract its latest decision.
