Hamas leader in the West Bank, Hassan Yousef  assured that US president, Donald Trump’s declaration to relocate the American embassy to Jerusalem and to recognize it as a capital of Israel is merely a fanciful dream.

Yousef affirmed that this step is a blatant aggression against the holiest Islamic places, Al Aqsa, which is the first Qibla and the third of the two holy mosques for Muslims. It is  also an attack on the Christian holy sites which have been protected by Muslims.

He stressed the need to confront this decision by all possible means at official and public Palestinian, Arab and Islamic levels.

Yousef called free people of the world and the Islamic people who support the Palestinian rights to unite against this decision which threatens  theland, rights, holy places and very existence of the Palestinian people
