The member of the Hamas Political Bureau, Hussam Badran stated Sunday that the intention of US Vice President Mike Pence to visit The Buraq Wall in Jerusalem next Wednesday comes to impose a new reality in Jerusalem after Trump’s declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of the Israeli Occupation. 

In a press release, Badran affirmed that the visit will be a challenge to our people. He called for official and popular rejection by all possible means.

He urged the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Jerusalem to ignite demonstrations and confrontations with the Israeli Forces at every possible place, especially around Jerusalem and Al Aqsa Mosque to prove to Trump and his deputy that Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine that the Palestinian people will never give it up under any circumstances. 

Badran called for a political move that suits the seriousness of the event pointing out that there is no political work is worthy without recognizing Jerusalem being the capital of the Palestinian state.

He praised the martyrs and the injured calling for pursuing and intensifying the Intifada. He also called for achieving reconciliation which is needed to confront the dangers surrounding Jerusalem and the Palestinian cause.
