The delegation of Hamas headed by the member of the Politburo , Mosa Abu Marzouq  met Tuesday the general director of the Lebanese General Security, Major General Abbas Ibrahim in his office in Beirut.

Hamas delegation included Maher Salah, Ezat El Rashq , Hussam Badran ,Hamas representative, Ali Barakah and Ahmasd Abed El Hadi.

The two parties reviewed the latest developments on the Palestinian cause and the situation of the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.

Hamas delegation briefed Ibrahim on the dangers that threaten Jerusalem following  the US decision to declare Jerusalem as the capital of the Israeli Occupation and the American veto of an Arab draft resolution submitted to the UN on Jerusalem.

Hamas delegation called for uniting the Islamic and Arab stands to confront the American injustice and the continuous Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and their land and holy places.

The two parties discussed the conditions of the Palestinian camps in Lebanon and assured the need to enhance the humanitarian, social and economic situations of the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon..

The delegation of Hamas affirmed the keenness of Hamas on the brotherly relationship with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples calling upon the Lebanese State to provide a decent life to the Palestinian refugees until their return to their homeland, in Palestine.
