Hamas delegation visits Lebanese Parliament

A delegation of Hamas movement visited on Monday the head of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabieh Beri. The delegation included Mousa Abu Marzouk and Izzat Risheq among other Hamas officials.

A delegation of Hamas movement visited on Monday the head of  the Lebanese Parliament, Nabieh Beri. The delegation included Mousa Abu Marzouk and Izzat Risheq among other Hamas officials.

The delegation discussed the latest controversial decision taken by the American administration to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish state, both sides rejected the decision and harshly denounced it.

They alsoreiterated their stance regarding Jerusalem of being the eternal capital of Palestine, and a sacred place for  Muslims and Christians , but not for the Israeli Occupation. 

Moreover, they discussed the current conditions of the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, stressing the need to form a united Palestinian front to face all thorny challenges.

Abu Marzouk said that all regulations regarding the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon should be implemented so that those refugees can enjoy a dignified life.

He also welcomed the Lebanese president’s keenness on unifying the stance of the Palestinian factions which would eventually enhance the Palestinian reconciliation in the face of all regional turbulences.
