In the name of of Allah the Merciful
We, in Hamas, condemn the decision of the Republic of Guatemala to transfer its embassy to occupied Jerusalem and consider such action as a grave offense against our people and their just cause. It also goes against the international consensus which has rejected the American decision to declare Jerusalem as capital of Israeli occupation.
We consider this position a flagrant violation against our people’s historical rights. We urge the Islamic and Arab countries, the supporters of the Palestinian cause and the world free people to pressure the Republic of Guatemala by all possible and legitimate means to backtrack on its positions. .
