Hamas representative in Lebanon, Ali Baraka said in a TV interview that the Palestinian Central Council is required to withdraw its recognition of the Israeli Occupation in its upcoming meeting, calling upon the PLO and the PA leadership to take courageous decisions and adopt new strategies based on resistance.

He added as well that the security collaboration with the Israeli Occupation must stop and a united national program based on resistance must be set up to lead the Palestinian people in this critical phase.
Concerning Jerusalem, Baraka said that the latest controversial decision taken by the American administration constitutes a grave violation against the Arab and Muslim nations, noting that the decision also violates International Law.
And on cutting UNRWA's budget, he said that the international agency must continue its mission of helping the Palestinian refugees in their exiled communities until their right of return is achieved.
