Hamas issued the following press release :
The Islamic Resistance Movement “ Hamas” rejects the statement that the peace envoy in the Middle East, Nickolay Mladeno made and in which he described the Palestinian resistance as being “ terrorist”. Mladenov knows precisely that under international law, the real terrorist is the Israeli occupation who kills children, violates sanctities and commits massacres. Hamas also asserts that Mladenov is well-aware that resistance is a legitimate right for any people who live under occupation and the Palestinian resistance came to be because of the occupation, and that its primary role is to restore the stolen rights of the Palestinian people.
