The spokesperson of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” , Fawzi Barhoum issued the following:
Hamas assures that cutting the funds to UNRWA by the US administration is an unaccepted American policy which aims to liquidate the Palestinian cause; namely the Palestinian refugee issue for the sake of the extremist and racist Israeli Occupation.
Therefore, Hamas calls upon UNRWA, human rights and international institutions and the world states not to succumb to the American pressure which violates the rights of the Palestinian people and to exert all efforts to support the Palestinian people and their just causes .
