Press Statement

Fawzi Barhoum, a spokesperson for the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" said the following:

The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, highly appreciates the important role of the UNRWA and the services it provides to millions of Palestinian refugees inside Palestine and in diaspora and its adoption and tackling of the refugees’ various humanitarian issues. The Movement also appeals to the countries of the region and the world to carry out their duties towards the Palestinians ,  and to provide  financial assistance to enable them to continue their role towards their  just political and humanitarian cause so that refugees can return to the same land they were displaced from. 

Hamas also affirms the right of return of all Palestinian refugees to their families and homes, which they have been exiled from, and their right to be compensated for the injustice imposed on them after their dispersion by the Israeli occupation, and the theft of their lands and homes and the violation of their rights.

We also call upon the entire world and the international institutions  to reject  any American or Israeli resolutions or positions that would liquidate the Palestinian cause.
