In the wake of US President Donald Trump's move on Jerusalem and his plan to move the US embassy to the holy city, the Israeli occupation government continues to make deep changes that endangers Jerusalem’s historical appearance, demographic landscape Palestinian identity.

Such violations, which are extension of a deep-rooted Israeli policy, are being carried out today under an official American protection. The Israeli government is now directly supervising the most dangerous judaisation project –Beit HaLiba, which is located just 200m to the west of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

This project is considered a flagrant violation of the legal, religious and political status of the Islamic Al-Buraq Plaza, which coincides with other Judaisation projects, aiming to judaise the closest circle around Al-Aqsa Mosque.

These projects are being carried out in the ruins of historical Islamic sites refer back to the Omayyad and Othman eras. This comes in line to the Israeli efforts to fake history.

In response to these criminal Judaisation policies, Hamas states the following:

• Hamas hails the Palestinians in Jerusalem, who stand steadfast in defending their homeland and holy sites, urging the Islamic and Arab nations to support them amid dangerous projects aiming at distorting the Islamic and Arab identity of Jerusalem.
• Hamas calls for escalating Jerusalem Intifada and developing its tools as a response to these violations and in order to undermine the occupation illusions that Jerusalem and its issue became and easy to be get rid of.
• Israeli occupation must recognise that the Palestinian resistance will not stand still amid its Judaisation policies targeting Palestine and its holy places.
• Hamas urges the Arab League and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation to immediately take actions to halt Israeli Judaisation policies in Jerusalem.
• We call on the King Mohammed VI, the Head of Al-Quds Committee, to immediately intervene in order to prevent the flagrant Israeli violations against the holy city.
