Palestinian people reject any occupation proposal that aims to undermine Palestinian rights or resistance, Member of Hamas Political Bureau Musa abu-Marzouq said on Friday.

On his Twitter account, Abu-Marzouq wrote: “Any proposal will not be passed as long as the Palestinians reject it.”

He added: “The Palestinians have been united on resistance. They insist on their rights in spite of numerous attempts to distort their identity, displace them or integrate them in other societies.”

The senior Hamas leader continued: “After each attempt to put pressure on the Palestinians, to chase their fighters, to make them busy in their livelihoods and educating their children or besieging them, new generations rise up and surprise the occupation.”

Abu-Marzouq’s remarks came in the wake of the decision of the US House of Representatives to blacklist Hamas over accusing it of using civilians as human shields.

The remarks also came two days after the UN had referred the reason of the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip to the cuts of the US aid to the UNRWA and to the crossings closures.
