Islamic Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas denounces US accusations of being responsible for Gaza crises.

On this issue, Hamas states the following:

Hamas rejects claims of the White House about its responsibility for the aggravating humanitarian crisis in Gaza, stressing that these accusations are considered a greenlight given to the Israeli occupation to continue its aggression on the Palestinian people. These claims are continuation of policies of consecutive American administrations, which are responsible for the tragedies of the Palestinians thanks to their economic, political and military support, as well as their vetoes used to undermine efforts of international powers that attempted to support the rights of the unarmed Palestinian people and to protect them from the consecutive pogroms have been committed by the Israeli occupation for 70 years.

The Palestinian people did not come under siege, death and destruction only during the last decade, but along the history of the conflict with the Israeli occupation as the United States have always supported the oppressors and killers, ignoring the right of the Palestinians to live secure and safe in their homeland.

This kind of support for the killers became clearer during the last decade, when the US Administration refused to accept the results of the Palestinian elections as the voters chose Hamas list – Change and Reform. It did not feel enough to take part in the Israeli siege imposed on the Palestinians, but threatened to besiege and punish everyone intends to offer any basic civil or humanitarian support for the Palestinians. It also continues to adopting this position, ignoring all of its consequences such as undermining basic rights of the Palestinians, including women, children and the elderly to receive health treatment, enjoy freedom of movement and the right to travel for treatment and education, as well as many other basic services.

The Israeli occupation bears direct responsibility for the humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip throughout its siege and aggression, which have received an explicit American support and coverage in a flagrant violation of all international laws and humanitarian values.

US Administration, headed by Donald Trump, is different than previous administrations regarding its notorious hostility for the Palestinians and their cause. It has been tightening the siege on the Palestinians and their political leaders to impose solutions that liquidate the Palestinian cause, starting with Jerusalem and refugees. Trump expected that this, in addition to the continuous pressure and unlimited support for the occupation, would end up the Palestinian cause and cut the deep-rooted historical and religious connections between the Palestinians and their capital or the refugees and their homeland.

Hamas calls for the free world, the Arab and Islamic states to lift the oppressive Israeli siege imposed on the Palestinians and end the torture and suffering inflicted on them in order to live freely in their land like all other free nations.
