The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas

Speech of the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas at the UN Security Council on did not meet the full expectations of the Palestinian people nor does his proposed initiative reflect the Palestinian position and the national consensus –the termination of Oslo Accords.

In the light of clear American cover up of Israeli crimes and violations against the Palestinian people and the biased US position towards the Israeli occupation, particularly regarding the issues of Jerusalem and the refugees, hoping to liquidate these issues, we believe that Abbas is trying to revive the already dead peace process and go back to the path of futile negotiations.  

Therefore, it is necessary to unify the internal Palestinian house and agree on a national strategy based on resistance of the occupation and on a national consensus in order to protect the rights and principles of our people.
