Hamas: conclusive evidence warrants immediate submission to the ICC
Hamas's spokesman Fawzi Barhoum stated Thursday that Amnesty International's condemnation of the Israeli war crimes in Rafah during 2014 aggression, targeting civilians and ambulances transporting the injured, requires immediate submission of such conclusive evidence to the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Calling for protection of the Palestinian people and supporting the just Palestinian cause, Barhoum demanded the international community to take the necessary punitive measures against the Israeli criminal leaders, and to prosecute them for committing war crimes against the Palestinian people.
Under the pretext of missing an Israeli soldier, the Israeli occupation forces launched a brutal military assault against the civilian population in Rafah City south of the Gaza Strip on Friday 1 July 2014 killing around 135 civilians including 75 children.
