About describing Hamas as an “extremist” organisation by the Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir, Hamas states the following:

The Palestinian Islamic Movement Hamas condemns the continuous incitement of the Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir against it and describing it as an “extremist” group in an attempt to mislead the public opinion and distort the legitimate Palestinian resistance.

Hamas believes that this does not reflect the view of the Saudi people and does not keep up with the overt Saudi support for the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian rights, including the right to protect the Palestinian principles and defend them.

Al-Jubeir’s remarks encourage the Israeli enemy to continue its violations and commit more crimes against the Palestinians and against the icons of their resistance.

Therefore, Hamas calls for halting such unjustified incitement, which distorts the Saudi Kingdom and its stances in support for the fair Palestinian issues, stating that such remarks contradict the Arab, Islamic and international attitude towards Hamas.
