On the issue of Israeli violations against churches, Spokesman of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas Fawzi Barhoum stated the following:

Imposing taxes by the Israeli occupation on Jerusalem churches and other properties is a retention of the Israeli religious war on the Palestinians and their Islamic and Christian holy sites. This represents the dangerous repercussions of the US President Donald Trump’s decisions and the policies of his administration, which target the Palestinian existence and the Palestinian rights, as well as reinforces the racist and extremist Jewish state.

This needs serious and practical measures to be urgently taken at all levels, as well as to step up Al-Quds Intifada, develop its tools and mobilise the whole Omah to stand up and thwart the dangerous attack that aims to liquidate the Palestinian cause, disclose Israeli agenda and support the Palestinians.
