The Palestinian Islamic Movement Hamas hailed on Wednesday Palestinian security services in Gaza Strip over progress made in investigations of targeting convoy of Dr Rami Hamadallah last week.
In a statement, Hamas thanked the security services, which were able to reach information about targeting Hamadallah’s convoy, which took place last Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Hamas called for the Gaza residents to be tolerant of the security measures being taken by the security services inside Gaza and on the borders and crossings as they are carrying out intensified efforts to arrest the criminals.
Hamas, in the statement, stressed that the head of its political bureau Ismail Haniyeh along with its leader in the Gaza Strip Yahya al-Sinwar have been following up the investigations closely.
In addition, the Islamic Movement announced its full support for the efforts of the security services in their mission to hunt the criminals and bring them to court.
Concluding the statement, Hamas pledged to make all details related to this crime public once the investigations into it completed.
It is worth mentioning that the ministry of interior in Gaza announced early on Wednesday the name of the main suspect in the crime of targeting Hamadallah and announced an award worth $5,000 for anyone reports information about him or leading to his arrest.
