The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has mourned two Palestinian policemen killed during manhunt after main suspects in targeting Dr Rami Hamadallah’s convoy last Tuesday.
In a statement, Hamas said: “The two policemen fell during their defence of the safety and security of the Palestinian citizens.”
Hamas also hailed the “relentless efforts” exerted by the security services in the Gaza Strip related to their investigations into the bombing of Hamadallah’s convoy and reaching tangible results in a very short time.
At the same time, Hamas thanked the Palestinian citizens in Gaza, who cooperated with the security services and facilitated their mission.
Last Tuesday, an explosive device targeted the convoy of Dr Rami Hamadallah shortly after entering the Gaza Strip, causing light material damage in three vehicles.
