On the vote of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) against the US President Donald Trump’s move on Jerusalem, Hamas Spokesman Hazem Qasim said:

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas welcomes the decision by the Inter-Parliamentary Union taken during the 138th session to reject Trump’s move on Jerusalem and stressing that the holy city is the capital of the Palestinian state.

This decision reflects the isolation of the American and Israeli positions, as well as the increasing global rejection of the aggressive American and Israeli policies against the Palestinians.
