A statement to the Palestinian, Arab and Islamic nations, as well as to all the free people in the entire world,

This day, 42 years ago, the Palestinians revolted against the Zionist gangs who confiscate the lands of Al-Muthallath and Al-Jaleel. This day became a national occasion and symbol of national unity. Land is the home for Palestinians who refuse to exist in anywhere except in Palestine. Therefore, defending Palestine and sacrificing for the sake of it is an unalienable national duty.      

The anniversary of Land Day, March 30, renews in our consciousness the blood, which was shed as a waterfall for the sake of our land. The land of Palestine revolted against the occupier like a volcano in spite of torture, terrorism, oppression, racial discrimination, land confiscation and home demolition. This reiterated that the Palestinians have been and will be forever entrenched in this land and are willing to sacrifice for the sake of it no matter how much the cost is.

The anniversary of the Land Day comes while our people are preparing to take part in the Great March of Return to impose new rules of engagement that simulates the return of birds to their home. At the same time, the Palestinian blood is still being shed, the land is being stolen, Jerusalem is being judaised, the West Bank is being torn apart, the Gaza Strip is being blockaded and the Palestinians are being suffering in diaspora. 

In the face of this racist policy, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement states the following:

First, Hamas praises the resistance of the Palestinian people in the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, Jerusalem, occupied Palestine and diaspora. It appreciates their sacrifices for the sake of adhering to their rights, maintaining their identity, sticking to their land, resisting all attempts to wipe them out and rejecting all forms of normalisation.

Second, Hamas reiterates the unity of Palestinian people, their land, their fate, their inevitable return and rejection any guardianship or resettlement.

Third, Hamas rejects all proposals aiming at liquidating the Palestinian cause, the last of which is Trump's ‘Deal of the Century.' Hamas has been exerting much effort to foil it.

Fourth, Hamas sends special greetings to Sheikh Raed Salah for his distinctive role in defending Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Palestinians and their land. In addition, Hamas sends its greetings to all the Palestinian heroes in occupied Palestine.

Fifth, Hamas stresses that the Land Day is a source of inspiration that reminds the Palestinians with the right to return, which has never been forgotten in spite of sufferings and tragedies inflicted on the Palestinians.

Sixth, Hamas calls for all the Palestinians to effectively take part in the Great March of Return and remain peaceful to achieve the objective of this event.

The Palestinian cause will remain present in the minds and hearts of all the Palestinians, the Islamic and Arab nations, as well as in the conscience of all the free people in the entire world. The Land Day along with all Palestinians days will remain occasions of sacrifices for the sake of returning Palestine free.
