The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas announced on Monday its rejection of all forms of normalisation with the Israeli occupation.
"Normalisation encourages the Israeli occupation to commit more crimes against the Palestinians and whitewashes its worldwide tarnished reputation, especially after its aggression against the peaceful protesters of Great March of Return," Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasim said in a press release on Monday.
Qasim added: "Normalising ties with the Israeli occupation, as what happened when the Senegalese foreign minister along with the Israeli settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli occupation soldiers, achieves the full interest of the occupation and uses it to commit more crimes and violations against the Palestinians and deprives them of their just rights.”
Hamas spokesman called for continuous isolation of the Israeli occupation, exposing its crimes against the Palestinians and putting more pressure in it to stop its aggression and lift its blockade on Gaza.
Concluding the statement, Qasim urged all parties which maintain normalization ties with the Israeli occupation to reconsider the acts as they are considered a big sin in relation to the Palestinian people and their just cause.
