Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh received on Thursday a message from the Kuwaiti Emir Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah, praising him and hailing the Palestinian resistance.
The Deputy Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Khalid al-Jarallah passed the message of the Kuwait Emir to Haniyeh.
He informed Haniyeh that the Emir himself received his message and pledged to discuss its content with the Arab leaders.
Al-Jarallah also said that the Emir hailed the resistance of the Palestinian people and expressed his deep sadness about the martyrs, who fell during the activities of the Great March of Return, and hoped very soon recovery for the wounded.
It is worth mentioning that Haniyeh had sent a written message to the Kuwait Emir, asking him to make the Palestinian issue, Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque main points on the agenda of the upcoming summit of the Arab League slated to be held in Riyadh.
Haniyeh also asked the Kuwaiti Emir to push for adopting a roadmap for the protection of the Palestinians and regaining the Palestinian rights.
Meanwhile, Haniyeh sent a message to the Jordanian King Abdullah II and also asked to take Palestinian cause to the upcoming summit of the Arab League.
He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation regarding Jordan’s honourable attitude in support of the Palestinian struggle and the just nature of the cause.
He also praised the Jordanian monarch and his brothers, the Arab leaders, for making Palestine and the occupied city of Jerusalem the focus of the forthcoming summit.
