Hamas denied on Wednesday receiving an Israeli offer through Egypt to stop demonstrations of Great March of Return in exchange for lifting the siege imposed on Gaza and to start talks for new prisoner swap with the Israeli Occupation.

In a statement made by Hamas spokesman, Fawzi Barhoum, the movement denied a news report which first appeared in the London based “Al-Hayat “ newspaper.

Barhoum called on the newspaper to work professionally and abide to the ethics of journalism when publishing news.

A news article published on Wednesday by “Al-Hayat”  said that Hamas  received an offer from Egypt to stop the Great March of Return in exchange for lifting the siege imposed on Gaza  and to start negotiations for another prisoner exchange with the Israeli Occupation.
