The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas denied holding negotiations with the Israeli Occupation regarding a new prisoner exchange deal.

A press statement released by the movement on Wednesday said "What has been released by Netanyahu's Office is pure fabrications and lies to cover his failure in tackling this issue". 

According to the statement issued by Netanyahu's office, the families of Israeli soldiers currently held captive by Hamas, were briefed on the enormous diplomatic and secret efforts being carried out by the Israeli government which aim to release the soldiers.
