Palestinian national and Islamic parties called on Palestinians in the West Bank on Sunday to take part in the peaceful protests of the Great March of Return.  

As the Great March of Return nears its sixth consecutive week, the factions urged the people of Palestine to participate in the demonstrations and extend their participation to the heart of the Occupied West Bank.  

The Palestinians factions also urged Palestinians to participate in the weekly sit-ins in front of International Committee of the Red Cross office on Tuesday in solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.   

They called on the international community to provide immediate protection for the Palestinian protestors who are being gunned down by Israeli snipers while protesting the arbitrary Israeli policies and injustices towards them and demanding their right of return.  

The factions also reiterated the necessity to unite behind the Palestinian resistance to regain the national and fundamental rights of the people and for a popular committee to defend Palestinian towns and villages in the West Bank from Israeli attacks and aggression.
