Head of Hamas’ political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, said that the Palestinian people will turn May 14 and 15 into a catastrophe for the Israeli Occupation and its Zionist project.

During his participation on the seventh consecutive Friday of the Great March of Return, Hanyia added, “The Palestinian people on May 14 will stand together as one to send US president Donald Trump a message that Jerusalem is an Islamic and Arab city and his decision of moving his country's embassy will not defame its original character.”

Hanyia noted that the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and Jordan will also march at the borders of historical Palestine on May 14 to demand their right of return, protest the embassay transfer and break the siege on Gaza.

“Despite the 11-year-old crippling siege imposed by the Israeli Occupation on Gaza and the Israeli onslaughts against the Palestinians, our people will continue to march peacefully demanding their rights and will not surrender until they regain their fundamental rights and the siege on Gaza is broken,” he reiterated.

Hanyia called on all Palestinians to unify their efforts to achieve the goals of the Great March of Return, as they have unanimously agreed on "resisting the occupation and adhering to the national constants."
