Hamas will never abandon the remaining territories of occupied Palestine
Vice Chairman of Hamas political bureau Ismail Haneyyah stated on Monday that Hamas will not accept a state on 2% of Palestine's land, and that Hamas will never abandon the remaining territories of occupied Palestine.
Talking during the closing ceremony of Jerusalemite elite's camps, Haniya said: "I say to those who defame Hamas's positions, the whole of Palestine belongs to us, and we will not accept a 2%-of-Palestine state in Gaza. Palestine is ours and our compass heads only towards Jerusalem."
He confirmed that Hamas's comprehensive strategy includes the liberation of Palestine as a whole, adding that “Gaza was not liberated by negotiations but through Hamas's strategy of phased liberation”.
Haniya said that Gaza today is the bastion of steadfastness and resistance of the Arab and Muslim nations and their compass towards Jerusalem, noting that Gaza will be the base from which liberation armies will move to liberate Al-Aqsa, Jerusalem and Palestine.
"Despite the pain Gaza suffers from, it will never give up its role in the liberation of Palestine, Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa. We here live the pain of the blockade, wars and conspiracies, but Jerusalem is our top priority ", Haniya said.
Haniya hailed the steadfastness of the Palestinian detainees in their struggle against the Israeli occupation prisons services, stressing that the Qassam Brigades will not leave the prisoners alone to their fate.
Haniya called for the detainee Mohammed Allan to be immediately released before it is too late, holding the Israeli occupation fully responsible for his life.
He added that those who made the victory in the prisoners swap deal of Wafa' Al-Ahrar are capable of liberating all Palestinian detainees.
