Press Statement issued by Hamas spokesperson Fawzi Barhoum

Regarding the Jerusalem blueprint handed over to American ambassador to Israel:

The blueprint of the city of Jerusalem that has been presented to the American ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, showing the so-called temple replaced on top of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque, clearly reflects the dangerous and racist partnership between the American administration and the Israeli Occupation in their attack against the holy places of the Palestinian people and the Islamic world in general.

Hamas considers this as explicit incitement to demolish the Al-Aqsa Mosque which requires serious Arab-Islamic steps to protect the holy site and to strengthen the steadfastness of our people in Jerusalem and to adopt a strong and effective strategy against all American and Israeli plans that target our people and their rights and sanctities.
