Hamas leader, Abdel Hakim Hunini, confirmed that the unprecedented settlement expansion in the West Bank and Jerusalem prepares the ground for he Israeli schemes to create a new reality by annexing the West Bank territories and abolish the Palestinian sovereignty over them in order to pave way for the implementation of "Deal of the Century". 

"The Israeli Occupation frequently approves construction of thousands of settlement units ignoring the Palestinians' right to their lands," Hunini added. 

He called on the Palestinian Authority to immediately take action and cut all ties with the Israeli Occupation on all levels, as well as achieving the Palestinian national reconciliation in order to face the dangers surrounding the Palestinian cause. 

Hunini noted that the Israeli Occupation takes advantage of the state of weakness that the Palestinian and Arab status is going through in order to impose a new reality on the ground which requires the Palestinians to unite against the colonial schemes aiming to liquidate the Palestinian just cause. 

He urged all Palestinian factions to stand as one against the Israeli violations, including settlement expansion, and the frequent break-ins of Al-Aqsa Mosque by illegal Israeli settlers, in addition to the continuous attacks on the civilians and their properties.
