Hamas leader, Khalil al-Hayya, reiterated his movement's willingness to consider any proposals aiming to lift the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.

"There are some dialogues underway, some behind the scenes, aimed at easing the Israeli imposed siege on Gaza," al-Hayya said, adding, "We are ready to consider any proposals and present it to the Palestinian factions".

"There is no proposal worthy of being discussed so far", he continued.

He stressed that the Great March of Return reflects the Palestinians' steadfastness and proves that the attempts to whitewash the Palestinians' awareness or break their will have failed, noting that the protests continued as a form of resisting the Israeli Occupation.

Al-Hayya said that the Palestinians achieved five goals through the March, the first among them reviving their right to return to their homeland after some attempts to force them to waive their in alienable right.

He noted that the Great March of Return was launched at a time when Gaza was meant to be part of Trump's "Deal of the Century", yet it proved that the Palestinians' will is unbreakable and they will thwart all schemes aiming to liquidate their cause.

"The Great March of Return disclosed the ugly truth about the Israeli Occupation and exposed it as an arch-foe of the Palestinians while some make haste to compromise with it", he added.

The Hamas leader noted that the March was a slap in the face of the Israeli Occupation and the US administration who justified the US embassy transfer to Jerusalem by grossly distorting the history of the holy city.

He pointed out that the Palestinians put the Gaza siege on world agendas, which started to work on easing the blockade, fearing an explosion in the face of the Israeli Occupation."
