Member of Hamas political bureau, Husam Badran, condemned the murder of Palestinian volunteer paramedic, Razan al-Najjar by an Israeli sniper during the Great March of Return protest on Friday.

In a press release on Saturday, Badran added, "a gang of terrorists, who dub themselves as a democratic state, carried out Netanyahu's and Lieberman's orders to execute al-Najjar while on her humanitarian duty".

He confirmed that the Israeli Occupation continues to perpetrate crimes against the Palestinians, stressing that more needs to be done to prosecute them in international courts. 

He criticized the world's silence on the Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian people and the level of normalization taking place between neighbouring countries and the Occupation.

"The Palestinian people have a right to live a secure and decent life and defend themselves against the Israeli aggression and they are a people who will never surrender", he concluded.
