"The execution of the Palestinian youth Ezzedin al-Tamimi at the hands of Israeli Occupation forces is an appalling criminal act, which can only be committed by an apartheid state that finds pleasure in murdering and terrorising unarmed innocent civilians," member of Hamas' Political Bureau Husam Badran said.     

In a press release on Wednesday, Badran regarded al-Tamimi's execution as a series of systemic crimes perpetrated by the Israeli Occupation against the Palestinian people. 

He noted that al-Tamimi was a prominent popular resistance activist calling on the Palestinian people and factions in the West Bank to activate all forms of resistance against the Occupation.    

The Hamas leader confirmed that the Israeli Occupation will pay a price for its continuous crimes against the Palestinian people adding that the Palestinian resistance in the West Bank will defend its people against the Israeli aggression.  

He urged the Palestinian Authority to terminate the security coordination with the Israeli Occupation and uphold the Palestinians' right to defend themselves against the Israeli terror.
