The member of Hamas Political Bureau Husam Badran confirmed that the mass protests across the West Bank city of Ramallah is a step in the right direction for ending the punitive measures imposed by the Palestinian Authority on Gaza. 

Badran called on the PA to respond to the Palestinian people's demands and lift its sanctions immediately and unconditionally.   

The Hamas leader praised the Palestinian crowds, including the national and public figures, for calling for unity and the end of the PA sanctions imposed on Gaza.

"It's high time to say enough for the unjust sanctions imposed by the Palestinian Authority on two million Palestinians living in Gaza," Badran added urging the Palestinians to continue taking part in the campaign for lifting sanctions on Gaza. 

 
He called on all Palestinians to express their rejection of the sanctions imposed by the PA on Gaza noting that their protests put the PA decision-makers under pressure.
