Hamas has welcomed the results of the UN General Assembly vote in favor of the Palestinian people and its refusal to pass the American amendments that condemn Hamas and hold it responsible for endangering the lives of Palestinians through their participation in the Great March of Return. 

In a press statement on Thursday, the Palestinian resistance movement considered the results of the vote as important and which came in favour of Palestine following the painful scenes that emerged during the Great March of Return and showed the state of isolation the American administration is going through after its biased policies towards the Israeli Occupation.   

Hamas stressed that the resolution strengthens the Palestinian position at the official and international level, which has provided evidence over the decades proving the state terrorism being practiced by the Israeli Occupation against the Palestinian people. 

It reiterated that the real protection and freedom of the Palestinian people can only be achieved once the Occupation ends and to hold the Zionist leaders accountable for the crimes perpetrated against the people of Palestine.
