The head of the political bureau of Hamas Ismail Haniyeh, called Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad the second, and offered them and the Turkish and Qatari people the warmest congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

During his meeting with President Erdoğan, Haniyeh praised Turkey's positions on the Palestinian issue, including the recent positions in the Security Council, and Turkey's presidency in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Turkey and Algeria presented the latest draft resolution in the United Nations for the benefit of the Palestinian people, which represented a siege of Israeli-backed Israeli policy in the corridors of the United Nations United Nations.

He also paid tribute to the efforts of Turkey through the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the convening of meetings to discuss the dangerous developments in Jerusalem and Gaza, reflecting the extent of interest in Palestine as the central issue of the nation.

Haniyeh expressed his deep thanks for the decision of President Erdogan to transfer the wounded of the events of the Great March of Return and Break the Siege to Turkish hospitals for treatment.

For his part, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his congratulations to the Palestinian people in general and the people of the Gaza Strip in particular for the Eid al-Fitr holiday, and stressed that Turkey adheres to its firm and supportive positions for Palestine, saying that the recent UN General Assembly resolution issued in favor of the Palestinian right confirms that America does not have the right to adapt the international situation in contravention of the principles of human rights.

 Erdogan said that Turkey will continue its efforts in all international forums for the return of the Palestinian issue to the focus of international attention and the protection of the Palestinian people and lifting the injustice on its people, including ending the siege of the Gaza Strip.

On the other hand, the head of the political bureau of Hamas during his contact with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad  expressed his appreciation for the positions of the State of Qatar in providing political, moral and humanitarian support to the Palestinian people.

Addressing the Emir of Qatar, Haniyeh  discussed developments related to the return marches, particularly the UN General Assembly resolution and how to follow up on the Palestinian issue.

Haniyeh stressed that these mass rallies will continue until the achievement of its goals, foremost of which is ending the siege on Gaza.
