"The US administration headed by Donald Trump is working to destroy the future of the Palestinian people through its absolute support of Israeli occupation," Hamas leader Usama Hamdan said.

In a televised interview with the German DW TV, Hamdan said that the US provides the Israeli occupation, which occupies Palestine and slaughters its indigenous residents, with weapons.     

"No one is siding with the Palestinians, so it's our duty to resist the occupation," Hamdan added. 

He confirmed that the Great March of Return is a civil and unarmed protest despite the great number of Palestinians killed or wounded during the violent  Israeli crackdown on the March. 

He also reiterated the Palestinians' determination on restoring their rights and liberating their homeland citing Yahya al-Sinwar's statement that "the Palestinians will one day pray in Al-Aqsa Mosque."
